Natural complementary feed for protection against coarse feeding deficiencies
Many barfers
assume that with the feeding of a possibly modeled ration of the prey animal
the nutrient needs of their dogs is optimally covered. Unfortunately, it is
nowadays the case that the feed used for the barf mostly comes from livestock
from intensive farming and feeding. So from animals that were fast and
intensively fattened with highly concentrated high-energy feed, or (in the case
of dairy cows and laying hens) on the production of other foods were
intensively and specifically fed.
This type of feeding brings fast intense performance, but its composition is
often very one-sided limited to a few natural components (one kind of grass,
one kind of cereal, one protein source, etc.) with the addition of minerals and
vitamins of synthetic type.
In the past, when livestock were kept on species-rich and herb-rich pastures
and were fed mostly from own cultivation, their diet was much more versatile
and, above all, rich in phytochemicals. These are almost completely missing in
livestock feed nowadays.
And literally the motto "You are what you eat" is exactly what these
substances are missing in the foods that are produced by these livestock and,
of course, feed.
That a permanent shortage of phytochemicals is problematic, is known since the
beginning of manned space flight, since the first "astronaut food"
this did not contain and, with prolonged exclusive diet with these
concentrates, after a relatively short time it came to a significant drop in
performance, which is very problematic especially with astronauts.
Meanwhile, the effect of phytochemicals is a research focus on the health-preserving
properties of food, especially in the prevention of cancer and they are always
trying to develop effective medicaments from them.
But here, too, it has been found that their effect is based on a highly complex
mixture of substances in its natural form and the isolation and administration
of individual components does not achieve the desired effect. For example, red
wine protects against heart attack in moderation though, but isolated
resveratrol does not.
Our dogs and cats also need these phytochemicals, which they originally found
in the body of their prey to stay fit and healthy. Since in the vast majority
of cases this is no longer the case in animal feeds today, remedy should be
provided elsewhere.
For this purpose Fit-BARF Safe-Complete
was developed.
Its broad spectrum of micronutrient-rich fruits and vegetables, topped off with
herbs, algae and other high-quality natural ingredients, compensates for the
shortage of phytochemicals and other natural micronutrients in feed of animal
origin, enabling a healthy diet appropriate to the species.
In contrast to Fit-BARF MicroMineral,
the calcium content is very moderate and so it is ideal as an additive in bone
feeding.
Also to secure the feeding when feeding larger amounts of leftover food.

Feeding recommendation:
Dogs 1 coated measuring spoon per 10kg body weight daily over feed,
1 measuring spoon is approx. 5g
